Finding Time and Introductions

Today has been a hectic day so far. The kids have been up since the crack of dawn and I cannot begin to imagine why. I am hoping to charge my digital camera and head out after the youngest takes a nap to the Evanston, WY Biker rally which is sponsering for the Angel’s Among Us Charity that helps low income families and families that have a hard time during Christmas to provide gifts to kids of all ages. If you happen to be close by the event will be on Front street until Sunday evening. All proceedes go Angel’s Among Us. So if you are trying to find time to get out of the house, supporting a cause is the best way to spend it. Be sure to gring a jacket as the weather may be a bit cold.

Getting Over The BS

I have been known to hold a grudge for a long time. I still can. The matter with me is that I do not trust easily and my trust can be easily broken. Also, depending on the damage, it could take twice as long as the damage took be created. For example, I absolutely loathed my ex step-mother for a good ten years after what she had done to my father. Then one day I just let it go. I haven’t spoken to her since but she has since me birthday wishes via my half-sister. With all that has happened by her, I must admit it does seem both fitting and mildly sad that she now has stomach cancer. Currently, it is about my ex-husband. I have not yet gotten over everything that happened and a good chunk of it still upsets me. Until very recently I decided to somewhat get over the past. As said, I haven’t gotten over everything but more or less have gotten over the pettiness. This is a big venture for me and not many know of my decision. With this I have added his new fiancé to my friend’s list on Facebook. I cannot say what will go from here. I can say that my current husband wont be as easily swayed. He knows too much and holds grudges tighter than me. In addition, I have also decided to involve one of my husbands friends to be around more even though with that part of my past, many would say I shouldn’t do it or that it is too soon. Which ever they concur with. This is just as touchy of a subject as the past of my ex is. This one I think I will have more trouble with. It worries me more and I severely fear the worse. I am prepared for things to go as they once had. If it does, well, a part of me will be forever gone.

The Waiting Game

Well, my odd emotions from Monday have passed and now it is Wednesday. Today is a fretful day. Too many things going on and I am wishing for the rest of the pieces to fall together. I had an idea last night for a new short story. Funny part was I could actually picture a movie version of it in my head, which is not a bad things as I am a very visual person. They say the best thing to write on is what you know and what you have lived. This story, which I have already thought to title, “Break My Heart” is about a woman who has gone through much in her life and currently feels that things in her love life aren’t making her happy. She knows that her husband may be into someone else that she is well acquainted with (not necassarily friends by definition). In this realization, she decides that she must get out of the unhappiness and break her own heart by getting her husband and this other woman together. I really don’t want to get into how this relates to my life as it is something of my past. Nonetheless, I think it is a great idea. I wouldn’t imagine any author having an idea like this as the topic may be controversial and totally the opposite of a love story. What do you, the audience think of this story idea?

I like this book because it is one of the few, if not the only, fantasy adventure romance novels that I can actually stand. I’ve never been into any sort of fantasy, save the Grimm brothers’ fairy tales. I don’t read much adventure. Okay, maybe ‘˜Dragon’s Wing’, ‘˜A Circle in the Sea’, and, ‘˜The Ring’ (all 1970′s novels, only ‘˜The Ring’ was supposed to be a true story). I’m picky about non-sexual romance. ‘˜The Princess Bride’ is a marvelous combination of all three genres.

Just Another Monday

Do you ever have one of those days where you feel . . . less? I do not mean depressed or anything. That word doesn’t quit describe the feeling. You wake up not feeling like you. You decide to get up otherwise, get dressed, get the kids ready for school and wonder what ever happened to school ending in May and not June as you remember from childhood, you drink your coffee and run errands and then come home. Not much to do other than that. That is how my day feels. God knows that if I had enough money, I would go to Fort Bridger for a few hours and come back home. The weather is great and the snow is teasing the supposed Spring weather. I live in the mountains and where I live we have three seasons. Summer, autumn, and winter. Autumn runs late and winter seems to never end. The town is small and jobs are difficult to come by as most of the good ones require skills that only out-of-towner’s are eligible to get. As for the other jobs, they hire more teens than anything and have radical turn-over’s. As I said, I cannot describe how I feel today. I hope to get more notebook paper soon so I can begin to write more poems and maybe a short story. Also, I need notebook paper for my summer college courses. I hope everyone else is having a good day.
